Marie Christine Roberge, President of Le Club d’Horticulture de Cowansville and longstanding member of our club, will raise awareness on the impact certain garden plant varieties have on biodiversity and agriculture.  Some may surprise you! 

 

Saturday, February 10th  – Roses for Our Planting Zone

Diane Vigneault, President of The Quebec Rose Society (www.srqrs1.wixsite.com) will talk about hardy and maintenance free roses for our local climate.

 

Saturday, March 16th  – What’s New and Exciting at The Garden Centre

Cindy Cluett, owner of Beyond the House Garden Centre (www.beyondthehouse.ca) in Russell, Ontario, will highlight new plant varieties coming to market as well as often underutilized plants and shrubs that should be included in your garden landscape.

 

Sunday, April 7th – The Peony Root – From Planting to The Finished Cosmetic Product 

Jennifer Brodeur, Founder and President of JB SKINSAVVI (www.jbskinsavvi.com) and recent new resident of Knowlton, will explain the process of making her sought after skin care products from the peony root.
